of the Farm that we lovingly refer to as "The Ruins." This area is believed to have been a stagecoach stop on the way to the Aetna Springs Resort in the 1800s. It later became a boarding-style home, with a foundation made from rock gathered from the surrounding hillside. Rumor has it that at one point the property even played home to a distillery and ancient cave used during prohibition!
We are presently rejuvenating the five acres of soil surrounding The Ruins, which currently beds our fruit orchard and small vegetable farm. A two-acre organic vineyard will be established in the coming years.
